Meet Dr. Melissa Meng (San Jose, CA)

Melissa Lau Meng, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry with cum laude honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Meng is a therapeutic and glaucoma-certified optometrist licensed by both the National and California State Boards of Optometry. Her clinical training included rotations serving veterans, military personnel, and Native American communities, where she gained experience in comprehensive primary eye care and the management of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Meng is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based eye care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She emphasizes patient education and personalized treatment to help individuals better understand their eye health, protect their vision, and maintain long-term visual wellness.
